Aussie Durian

Jun 7, 2010 by

I've been craving for something since last week, and I didn't know what exactly am I craving for. My taste buds are missing something that I really like. To my surprise, when my mom reminded me last night about the birthday celebration that we have to go to, I suddenly pictured out a certain food in my head! DURIAN! It was because the person that would be having a birthday celebration is a Filipino and the last time I was with all of them, my momsĀ friends, we had Durian. :) Yum! Though it was really different from the Durian I usually have in Davao, because of the fact that it's frozen, still, I was really glad that I had a chance to taste this tropical fruit again.

The last time I had a real, fresh Durian was last year, around August I think, at People's Park with my friend Apple. Sigh. That was really good.

I really want to eat a fresh Durian right now, but there are really things (or food in that sense) that we really can't have right now. Yet, I'm glad that I had a chance to see and taste the Durian they have here. Though not fresh, but I still love it. :)
