Davao City Seawall (Baywalk)
On May the 28th, 2010, I visited Davao City's Seawall (Baywalk), which is located not too far from the SM Mall. The place is noted for its replica of Michelangelo's David statue. It once was a place of controversy a few years ago, since, the statue was put up by Queensland (a nearby lodge) on public grounds. Today the statue is one of the city's attractions. There are other things at the Seawall too, such as a replica of The Little Mermaid statue, a nice view of the ocean, and a small zoo. The small zoo featured ostriches, turkeys, guineas, a peacock, and a deer.
