Davao City... a beautiful place among the many notable cities within the Philippines. Davao City is located near Mt. Apo, the Philippines' largest mountain. Not just that, but Davao City is built on the coast. Being on the coast, Davao City is just a ferry ride away from the white sand and blue waters of Samal Island. Within the city itself, there are many things to do. Places like the Davao Crocodile Park, and Outland Adventure are a among the several tourist attractions of Davao City. For those wanting to shop, there are many places for that as well. Magsaysay Avenue, being the 'China Town' of the city, hosts many shops along the roads. Aldevinco is the main shopping center for tourists, especially those staying right at the Marco Polo Hotel. Of course, there are also malls in the city; SM City Mall, Victoria Plaza, Gaisano Mall, NCCC Mall, and JS Mall. JS Mall is a mall made more for clothes shopping, while the other malls have many other varieties of stores.

While you stay in Davao City, while you enjoy many things, you can be worry free. Thanks to one of the former mayors, Davao City is hailed for having a low crime rate. If you belong to a religion, and wonder if there is any place for you to worship, Davao City hosts several places for different religions. Most of the Philippines is Catholic, so you will see many Catholic churches, but there are also a good many of Protestant churches. Besides those, you can find a few mosques and Buddhist temples in the area.
